I also particularly like Katsa from graceling :) Weak passive famale characters have the ability to destroy a book for me, which means i better start reading the other books on the list! haha, great post!Audrey (holes In My brain)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02092399404120477032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7735828474470582576.post-18913089669085617862010-06-22T02:58:17.274-04:002010-06-22T02:58:17.274-04:00Awesome post!! A weak, passive female protag who doesn't grow as the story progresses ruins the reading experience for me. There are a lot of books in this post that I'll be adding to my TBR pile. (The frog part at the beginning made me laugh, btw.) Thanks, Christina!Kris (Voracious YAppetite)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17764644281859703177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7735828474470582576.post-23059914713809616162010-06-18T05:30:56.130-04:002010-06-18T05:30:56.130-04:00Excellent post. Strong female characters have always been my favorite characters (I get upset and bored with whiny self-absorbed girls).

Alanna from Tamara Pierce's series song of the Lioness is another character that would fit into the category of strong females. In fact all of Pierce's female show strength.

Thanks for featuring Christina I agree that her blog is well worth visiting, and her reviews are consistently enjoyable and well-written.Jan von Harzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01911676835023825470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7735828474470582576.post-53538011638681640052010-06-18T00:46:15.349-04:002010-06-18T00:46:15.349-04:00Awesome guest post!
